DISC Assessment and College Student Workshops

📚This assessment is paired with a 1-hour debrief or can be provided as a group workshop for college students.

🗣️ Our DISC online assessment is an invaluable behavior profiling system that teaches users how to identify— and use to their advantage— the predictable aspects of communication. Based on the research of Dr. William Moulton Marston, DISC is the most widely used behavior profiling tool of its kind, supported by decades of research and validation.

🌟The one-on-one debrief or group workshop will help college students by including 10 areas where greater success could be achieved:

  1. Self-Awareness - Helps students understand their own behavioral tendencies, strengths, and areas for development. This self-awareness is crucial for personal growth and improvement.
  2. Improved Communication - By understanding their own communication style and those of others, students can better navigate interactions with professors, classmates, and other stakeholders in their academic journey.
  3. Effective Teamwork College often involves group projects and collaborative assignments. Knowing their DISC style can help students work more effectively in teams by understanding their role and how to best contribute.
  4. Stress Management - College life can be stressful, but understanding one's behavioral style can help students identify stress triggers and develop coping strategies tailored to their individual needs.
  5. Enhanced Leadership Skills - Whether leading a student organization or taking on leadership roles in group projects, knowing their DISC style can help students lead more effectively by understanding how to communicate and motivate others.
  6. Better Study Habits - Different behavioral styles may require different study environments and approaches. Understanding their style can help students optimize their study habits for maximum efficiency and retention.
  7. Conflict Resolution - College can sometimes bring about conflicts, whether in personal relationships or academic settings. Knowing one's DISC style can help students approach conflicts constructively and find mutually beneficial resolutions.
  8. Career Readiness - The DISC assessment provides insights into students' natural inclinations and preferences, which can guide them in selecting majors, internships, and career paths aligned with their strengths and interests.
  9. Networking Skills - Building professional relationships is essential for career success. Understanding their behavioral style can help students adapt their networking approach to different situations and connect more effectively with peers, professors, and potential employers.
  10. Personal Development - Ultimately, the DISC assessment empowers students to take ownership of their personal and academic growth. By leveraging insights into their behavioral style, students can continually refine their skills, adapt to new challenges, and thrive in their academic endeavors and beyond.

Motivators Assessment and College Student Workshops

📚This assessment is paired with a 1-hour debrief or can be provided as a group workshop.

🔍Explore the seven universal dimensions of motivation that exist within each of us: Aesthetic, Economic, Individualistic, Power, Altruistic, Regulatory, and Theoretical.

📌Motivators answers WHY whereas DISC predicts HOW a person will behave.
📌Motivators combine uniquely for each person to influence priorities and decision-making.
📌Those who understand their natural motivators are more likely to pursue the right opportunities for the right reasons to get the results they desire.

🌟If you’re only using DISC, you’re only scratching the surface of what assessments can offer individuals and organizations. This is the perfect companion assessment to pair with DISC.
